Work with the calibration team to maintain and improve the calibration process. Assist with collecting, calibrating, and returning calibrated assets as well as data entry of calibration records. Manage and update the calibration database to ensure the records are current and DRS demonstrates a compliant calibration process.
_BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS_* *
US citizenship is required.
Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 8+ years
Strong knowledge of equipment, tooling and calibration industry standards (e.g. ISO, AS, ANSI, NIST, etc.).
Ability to update and maintain a calibration database to demonstrate compliance.
Organization and maintenance of electronic files and records.
Highly proficient with Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, Word.
Strong people skills and the ability to work well with employees from numerous backgrounds and job functions.
Experience with a Fluke 5522 multi-product calibrator.
Professional certification is a plus.
Knowledge on control of government/customer owned property.
_ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
Calibrate equipment in-house or send out equipment for calibration.
Create and e-mail reports for equipment coming due or overdue for calibration.
Assist with the collection and return of tools.
Scan and electronically file calibration data records.
Print calibration labels.
Maintain and organize the calibration database
Other duties as assigned
Perform work in office and factory floors including work (infrequent) in a Class 100 cleanroom facility with related gowning requirements.
Bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking.
